Ashley Brooks
In 2014 Ashley completed an extensive program through “Paul Mitchell The School” where she excelled in many areas. After graduating she dove head first into her career, having no idea the amount of joy and success this industry would bring her.
Ashley is well known for her Dimensional Blonding techniques as well as her use of the Habit Hand-Tied Extension Method. Over the past 10 years Ashley has grown to be one of the Top Stylists in the Austin Beauty industry, and her work is sought after by women all around Texas.
While continuing to master her craft with many hours of hard work and dedication, Ashley has found so much joy in the connection she makes with her clients every day. Which we believe shows in her work!
Ashley is a native Texan but spent most of her younger years in Arkansas, and now happily calls Austin her home.

Casey Reardon
Casey was born and raised here in Austin Texas! We know, she’s a rare find! Her childhood home is actually only 10 minutes away from the salon!
After high school she attended Texas State University for a couple years trying to find her path. Cosmetology school kept calling to her and eventually she finally decided to pursue her true dream.
Casey has always been very artistic and loves to draw and paint in her free time so being a hairstylist felt like the perfect career for her. She attended Central Texas Beauty College where she was able to finally use her creativity!
Casey is one of the founding stylists at New City Blonde. She did an extensive apprenticeship program, working side by side with the owner, Ashley Brooks, perfecting her skills and mastering the modern Blonding and Extension techniques we offer at New City Blonde.
Casey truly cares for her clients and always strives to create a safe space for them. Her goal is to help clients feel as beautiful on the outside, as they are inside!

New Talent Stylist & Apprentice
Devyn Skye
Devyn grew up in sunny Southern California. She cherishes the experience and believes it was the starting point of her journey to become a stylist. Devyn's affection for beauty and hair originated during childhood and has persisted throughout her life. In 2021, she decided to pursue this passion by enrolling in cosmetology school at Lu Ross Academy in Ventura, California. She instantly knew she had found her passion!
After graduating from Lu Ross Academy in 2022, Devyn made a decision to relocate from Southern California to Austin, Texas. Despite initial hesitations, Devyn has come to love Austin and her new home at New City Blonde. Her experience in Austin has contributed to Devyn’s personal growth, by increasing her confidence and allowing her to chase her dreams.
For Devyn, being a hairstylist means more than just the act of hairstyling. It involves ambition, genuine relationship-building, continuous learning, and the creation of meaningful and unforgettable experiences for every client. Devyn's mission is to support, give confidence, and enhance the beauty of her clients!
